 Presentation of the project content:

 The project involves the renovation of the primary health care building in Tiborszállás, except for the energy renovation of the building. For the municipality of Vállaj, the project will move the general practitioner's surgery and the counselling service of the midwife to a new building. The structure of primary health care in the municipalities covered by the project is as follows:

Midwife care: the care of the settlement is provided by the midwife of the Vállaj-Tiborszállás midwife district. The aim of the service is to protect the health of families, to help prevent illness, and to educate people about health in order to prevent the development of illness.

Medical care: general medical care is also provided in the Vállaj-Tiborszállás district in a mixed district. All specialised care is available in the town of Mátészalka. A central medical service is located in Nagyecsed.

The justification for the construction of the new building is that the conversion of the current surgery would not have met the criteria for meeting the mandatory energy and medical criteria. The new surgery will be located in the heart of the village. The development will improve the quality of primary health care.

The Municipality of Vállaj has been awarded a non-repayable EU grant of 100% under the Operational Programme for Spatial and Urban Development
